1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Mimmo Engine, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Mimmo Engine is a visual novel editor that allows you to create games without programming. The service is free during the open beta, and every feature is included.

3. Account and Registration

To use the service, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Be responsible for all activities on your account
• Be at least 14 years old (minimum age under GDPR for Italy, Art. 8 GDPR)

4. Price and purchases

The Mimmo Engine editor and Mimmo Player are free during the open beta. They have no plans or subscriptions, and every feature is included.

In the Market, digital products are sold by other users and paid for once, through Stripe. The price is the one shown on the product page at the time of purchase.

Right of withdrawal: as a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchasing a Market product, without giving any reason (Art. 52 of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005, Consumer Code). Because Market products are digital content supplied immediately, by downloading or using one before the 14 days expire you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once performance is complete (Art. 59(1)(o)). If you have not yet downloaded the product, you can exercise the withdrawal by writing to info@mimmoengine.com and we will refund you within 14 days using the same payment method.

DS6 Suite: the programs for DAZ Studio 6 are not part of the free editor. They are sold as a membership on Patreon: you subscribe, pay, renew, cancel and are refunded through Patreon, under Patreon's terms. The membership unlocks the programs in the Launcher DS6 for as long as it is active at a level that includes them. Each program comes with its own licence agreement, which governs its use, and nothing in it limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

5. User Content

You retain all rights to content you create with Mimmo Engine. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You agree to:

• Not create illegal, offensive, or harmful content
• Respect third-party intellectual property rights
• Not use the service for fraudulent activities

6. Limitation of Liability

Mimmo Engine is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not liable for any losses or damages arising from the use of the service.

7. Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or third parties for any modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations of the service.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel your account at any time. Cancellation is permanent and cannot be undone. Your data may be retained for a limited period for legal or security purposes.

9. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts in Italy.
